I hope this finds you happy and healthy and that life is treating you well!
From June 2rd through June 8th 2013 I will (hopefully) ride my bike 545 miles from San Francisco to Los Angeles in AIDS/LifeCycle 12.  I've now committed to raising a minimum of $25,000 and I need your support in order to reach this very lofty fundraising goal.

I started this journey hoping to raise $ you can see with the incredible, generous and loving support from my wonderful circle of family and friends that goal was shattered long ago!!  I am beside myself with pride and joy!

The funds I raise will enable the L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center and San Francisco AIDS Foundation help those impacted by HIV get the treatment and care they need, and provide targeted prevention efforts for high risk populations. Ultimately our goal is to rid AIDS from the planet!  I long to hear the word CURE!!

Please click on the link below and be sure to donate under my name when prompted. Donate as generously as you can.

Together we can make a difference.

THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart for your donation and here's to a world without AIDS!!

It's hard to believe that the ride is 4 weeks away. I am currently riding 4 times a week and an average of 150 - 175 miles each week. The anxiety and excitement are starting to take over myself and all my teammates as we inch closer to the big day on June 2nd. My fundraising has been a MAJOR success and I am currently creeping up on $25,000...INSANE. Thank you to my amazingly generous donors. Your love and support guide me on to this incredibly difficult and wildly fulfilling experience. The people I have met associated with this ride (riders, roadies, supporters, etc) inspire me to give more of myself and think less of it. Thank you AIDS/LifeCycle for changing my outlook on mankind. Life is good!!!

75 miles!
Had a wonderful ride from Irvine to Solana Beach in the cold, foggy CA Spring weather. Rode the whole day with some of my pals from Team Long Beach and had a blast. This isn't getting any easier but it sure is getting more rewarding at the finish!! Onward to 100 miles in a day!!!

After a number of weekends of riding alone on the beach bike path in the rain and fog, today I rode a chilly and foggy 30 miles from Playa Del Rey to Palos Verdes and back with a GREAT group....The Chain Gang!! The ride leaders Mel, Tony and Doreen were all fantastic and the group was a wonderful, welcoming bunch. I was inspired by 73 year old "uncle" Mel who is riding in his 9th Life Cycle ride. RIDE ON UNCLE MEL!!!!!!! Thank you Chain Gang. It was a pleasure and I will be back for more of your training rides:)
