I'm Riding to End AIDS

From June 2-8, 2013, I'm bicycling in my third AIDS LifeCycle. It's a 7-day, 545-mile bike ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles to make a world of difference in the lives of people living with HIV and AIDS. It's also one of the most phenomenal experiences of my life.

For the past few years, I've looked forward to this ride with both excitement and slight trepidation. The journey from SF to LA is long and arduous, and I will admit to a few flashing thoughts of backing out. After all, who wants to spend an entire week of vacation on a bicycle, pedaling from dawn to dusk?

Well, I do... and thankfully, over 2,000 people will join me! AIDS LifeCycle is an incredible community that I have learned to love even more this year. And as a Training Ride Leader this year, I have been inspired by so many brand-new cyclists taking on hills, mountains, and beyond, and I have pushed myself to work harder as a result.

Please support my AIDS LifeCycle ride by giving what you can. I know that your fundraising goes directly to an extremely worthy cause, and every single dollar is appreciated. I will keep riding until AIDS and HIV are a thing of the past.
