Welcome and Thank You for your support of my AIDS/LifeCycle participation!

2013 will be my third year participating in AIDS/LifeCycle. It has been a tremendous experience and given I had shoulder issues last year and could not ride every mile, I am very anxious for this coming year and making up for last year! I recently rode in the Miami to Key West ride, 170 miles including a 105 mile day, a personal record, so I am feeling good about ALC 2013. Thanks for your continued ecncouragement.

I am continuously inspired by the work we do each day at San Francisco AIDS Foundation. Everything we offer our thousands of clients is provided for free, mainly because of your support. We will conduct over 15,000 clinical visits this year at Magnet, testing for HIV and other STI's and treating the STI's too. We have hundreds of people in our many groups, receiving support for housing needs, substance use challenges, personal health issues and so much more. In San Francisco, SFAF's work is repsonsbile for identifying the majority of new HIV diagnoses each year, and then linking those individuals to care and treatment. It is vital work and it is making a difference! New HIV infections in San Francisco continue to drop and we are nearing the day when HIV will be no more. But we are not there yet.

Our ground-breaking prevention, outreach, public policy and advocay work and client care are known around the globe. Indeed, we are one of the oldest and largest AIDS organizations in the world and we will continue our work until there is no longer a need. Until that day arrives, we will be here to answer each and every call and serve the community.

Your support of my work and my ALC ride enables us to do even more and I am so grateful. We couldn't do it without you. Thank you very much for your friendship and support!
