**I'm Riding to End AIDS**
This year, from June 2-8, I'm bicycling in AIDS/LifeCycle. It's a 7-day, 545-mile bike ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles to make a world of difference in the lives of people living with HIV and AIDS.
This will be my third consecutive year riding in AIDS/LifeCycle, and my third year supporting the efforts of the San Francisco AIDS Foundation in providing HIV services to people living with HIV and AIDS. In 2011 I knew nothing about cycling, I didn't own a bike, I'd NEVER worn spandex, and I had no idea how to fundraise. Through the support of the ALC community and my amazing family and friends, I participated in my first AIDS/LifeCycle ride. When I rode out for my first time from Cow Pallace in San Francisco, I didn't know many people and I had absolutely NO idea what I was doing. By the end of the week I had made life-long connections and had experienced the beauty of hummanity in a way I never thought possible.
AIDS/LifeCycle is an amazing community and it helps fundraise for a very important cause. I ride for those who can't, for communities affected by this disease, and for people very special to me who are living with HIV. In order to ride, I must raise a minimum of $3,000 (this money is donated to the San Francisco AIDS Foundation). Anything and everything helps- no donation is too small or too great.
From the bottom of my heart I thank you for taking the time to visit my page. Thank you to all who support me in taking on this crazy life experience and thank you SO VERY MUCH for your donations. Together, we are truly CHANGING LIVES.
All my love,
Kallie Beebe (spandex loving, red tu tu wearing, HIV fighting extrodinaire)
