I'm Riding to End AIDS

From June 2-8, 2013, I'm bicycling in AIDS/LifeCycle 12. It's a 7-day, 545-mile bike ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles to make a world of difference in the lives of people living with HIV and AIDS.

I'm riding in honor of Jack Bier who was my closest friend until he passed away in 1991.  Jack was truly a giver.  He taught me how to give and love without expecting anything in return.  Jack's sister, Nancy, recruited me into Tupperware,  my career prior to Real Estate.  I am grateful that Jack touched my life deeply and I do miss him.

I'm also riding to support those who are living with HIV and AIDS.  While many people who are infected are living longer due to advances in treatments, this epidemic is far from over.  The money that is raised gives hope and provides needed services to many who are infected.

Please help me support AIDS/LifeCycle by giving what you can.  Last year, I raised $6750.  This year, my goal is to raise $10,000.  Funds raised go to the Los Angeles Gay & Lesbian Center and the San Francisco AIDS Foundation.  Thank you in advance for your support.  Anything helps and is truly appreciated.  And yes, I'll keep riding until AIDS and HIV are a thing of the past.
