I'm Riding to End AIDS and help eliminate the stigma of being HIV+
I am riding to help things change surrounding the stigma of being HIV+
I ride for one of my partners Glenn Paul Parsley who died of complications of being HIV+, his body just gave up the fight. After dealing with P.C.P. and the stress of his family missing in his life. His family forced him to choose between me and them. He died with them and his family refused to recognize and help him with his status. He died Feb 19, 2004. His obituary lied about his life and what happened to him. I ride because no one should ever have to choose between their family and their partner. No one should be forced to die without the person they love the most.
From June 2-8, 2013, I'm bicycling in AIDS/LifeCycle. It's a 7-day, 545-mile bike ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles to make a world of difference in the lives of people living with HIV and AIDS.
Help me support AIDS/LifeCycle by giving what you can. We'll keep riding until AIDS and HIV are a thing of the past!!
It will be a fantastic challenge for me, and I love the idea of a challenge.
So help me raise money for these two fantastic organizations!!!
If you don't you know I will hound you!!!!
Hey $5 helps too. Maybe you can do it every month.
