Change will not come if we wait for some other person, or if we wait for some other time. We are the ones we’ve been waiting for. We are the change that we seek.

Barack Obama

IN 1991, I was introduced to a disease that shaped who I would become. It took some of my friends and affected MANY more.

At first, it was a death sentence......

Then, we made progress and lived longer.........

Now, we live full and normal lives....

but the epedemic is not over!

                                                 There is still no cure...

Those who live with the disease need MEDICINE to survive! Those who don't have it need to KNOW their status and prevent acquiring it in the first place.

I ride in HONOR of David Lewis and all of the other amazing people that were taken from us prematurely. I wonder what the world would have been like if they were all still here??

I ride to HELP those I do know, and those I don't know who are living with AIDS and HIV today.

I ride in the hope that AIDS and HIV will be only a memory for the next and future generations.

THANK YOU ALL for helping me in my quest.

What we have done for ourselves alone dies with us; what we have done for others and the world remains and is immortal.
