I'm Riding to End AIDS!
From June 2-8, 2013, I'll be bicycling in AIDS/LifeCycle. It's a 7-day, 545-mile bike ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles to make a world of difference in the lives of people living with HIV and AIDS. I'm hoping you will feel as inspired as I do and join me on this worthy quest.
I'm riding on behalf of my dear friend, Hank, who gave his heart and soul to so many as he lived the rest of his days with AIDS.
I'm riding for several of my sober sisters and brothers who are currently HIV positive.
I'm riding because I've seen the AMAZING work that the LA Gay & Lesbian Center is doing for those in need.
I'm riding to be a helpful contributor to my partner's work, my community, and this world.
I know I'm not alone in losing a loved one to this deadly virus. We are now in the 32nd year of this pandemic. There are over 33 million people living with HIV.

I've made a sincere commitment to personally raise $30,000 by New Year's Eve. I truly believe WE can raise MORE than $100,000 by June 2nd, 2013! Let's blaze a trail & get the first goal met ASAP! In the meantime, I'll be sharing my journey with you by posting training vids and blogs along the way.
There are several ways in which you may help support my endeavor. So you know, I'll be looking for Virtual T~bug riders to join me from all over the world. Because this is a serious issue, I must ask for SERIOUS riders who are willing to commit to raising more than $5,000 each as my T~bug Team Members! So, what is next, you ask?
Now, I am going to shift it up to $31,000 for World AIDS Day, Saturday Dec 1st, in honor of the 31 years since the epidemic began on June 5th 1981.
