I'm Riding to help End AIDS in Los Angeles

From June 6 - 12, 2010, I'm bicycling through California on a 7-day, 545-mile bike ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles to make a world of difference in the lives of people living with HIV and AIDS. And I do mean a world of difference. The people that are affected by this disease include not only those infected, but those who care about, and for, them. AIDS has become manageable but not cured, and there are thousands of our friends and neighbors who can't afford the treatments.

Some say the government should do more. Not me. I say that I should do more. I do this because I can, and because I care, and because I will do almost anything to help people with AIDS obtain medication and assistance. And I'm not alone. There are 3000 of us that either ride or support this event, and that number includes a huge contingent of Positive Pedalers - folks who are afflicted and are fighting anyway to help others.

I'm asking you to help me. I'll pedal the miles if you'll sponsor me. Please give as much as you can ... you can even spread payments out over 10 months, and I humbly suggest you do just that ... $25 per month on your credit card will hardly be noticed and it will go a long way toward finding a cure and helping those in need right now. Please use the link to the right to get started by giving what you can. We'll keep riding until AIDS and HIV are a thing of the past.

Thank you,
Don
