I signed up to ride again in 2010 because of the incredible experience I had last year. Almost 3000 people, volunteers and riders, made their way from San Francisco to Los Angeles with common focus, legs of steel and hearts of gold. It was moving in ways I cannot describe.

Because of everyone's generous support, I was able to raise over $8000 last year. This year I'm aiming slightly higher. Your name will appear on a jersey I'm designing to wear on the ride, and you'll be helping to better the lives of many people with HIV and AIDS who receive services from the LA Gay and Lesbian Center.

Please understand that I do not take this lightly. Last year I spent countless hours training, and there were times on the ride that I wasn't sure I'd done enough training. This year I have even more determination, and with that comes the desire to raise more. Please help me reach this simple goal. The people I'm riding for have much harder goals than mine; I think this is the least I can do.
