Getting ready to roll...

From June 6 through 12, 2010, I'm riding  in AIDS/LifeCycle. This will be my sixth 7-day, 545-mile ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles to make a difference in the lives of people living with HIV and AIDS.

Many of you have helped in the five past years, and I greatly appreciate your support.  Every gift counts.  With donations ranging from $1,200 to $25, we have together raised $45,150 in the past five years to help fight AIDS in California, and I'm hoping you pitch in again or give for the first time.

As a special incentive, I'd like to make two special offers.  First, I will have my second annual "THANK YOU PARTY" shortly after the ride in June.  So, I hope you'll contribute and plan to join me.

Second, I'm offering you a special gift.  Each day on the ride I wear a bandana under my helmet to keep warm.  As in the past I will be riding in tribute to your and my friends and colleagues who have died of AIDS.  When you contribute, e-mail to me the names of loved ones you'd like recognized, and I will have bandanas printed with all these peoples' names to wear with me every mile of the ride.  After the ride, I'll give each of you -- my donors -- one of these bandanas as a token of my appreciation for what you've done.

Last year, many of you helped me raise $13,625, and my ultimate goal is to exceed that.  Please help in any way you can!
