NOW MORE THAN EVER!!

California's "Terminator" governor has proceeded to terminate millions in dollars for social programs this year and HIV/AIDS treatment took one of the biggest hits.

I know this has been a rough year for most of us but I would be so grateful if you could help support my cause and help to make a difference in the lives of people living with HIV and AIDS.

It is not just "poor" people who rely on these services -  many middle class individuals have lost their jobs and health insurance this year and would greatly benefit from this assistance.

I am grateful for a donation of ANY AMOUNT - I really mean it. If $20 is all you feel you can afford - that's great. If you wish to give more, you can also set up a payment plan of $20 for 3, 4, or 5 months. The AIDS LIFECYCLE is the biggest source of income for the LA Gay & Lesbian Center and the San Francisco Aids Foundation - two cities that are hugely affected by this disease.

As memorable as last year's ride was, I debated on whether I had it in me to train again for the ride this year - it consumes many hours on the weekend. I just feel the cause is too important to ignore - especially this year - and I hope you agree with me.

I've been HIV positive for 19 years and have been able to live a healthy life because of the dedication of organizations like the LA Gay & Lebian Center and the SF AIDS Foundation. Both organizations were invaluable in helping get drugs "fast-tracked" through the approval process with the FDA which saved thousands of lives. They continue their political work as well as provide the valuable services to those who need it most.

I have benefited from the people who fought so hard for this cause and I want to continue the tradition. Please help me give to others what was so freely given to me!
