Eight is Enough (well, at least for now)

IT'S MY LAST RIDE!

I'm giving myself and all of my generous sponsors a break in 2011

Eight is certainly enough (for now). After participating in seven rides--this year will be my eighth--I've decided to take a break after completing AIDS/LifeCycle 9 this June. Help me break my all-time record of $10,125 in a single year (which I set my first year way back in 2002) by donating today!

WE NEED MORE HEROES NOW MORE THAN EVER!

Okay, so I know times are tough these days, but it's even tougher for those people living with HIV/AIDS who have lost their jobs, their insurance and their income to pay for their much needed medications, doctor's appointments and services.

Most of us are still very fortunate, considering.

Again, I know people are really tightening their belts these days, but won't you please dig a little deeper and give what you can to ensure that the L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center does not have to turn away the record number of people needing their services for lack of funds?

From June 6 to June 12, I'm bicycling in my eighth and last AIDS/LifeCycle with my cycling team, Team Baby Dragon--a division of Team Funky Monkey. It's a 7-day, 545-mile bike ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles to make a world of difference in the lives of people living with HIV and AIDS.
