I'm Riding to End AIDS

From June 6-12, 2010, I'm bicycling in AIDS/LifeCycle. It's a 7-day, 545-mile bike ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles to make a world of difference in the lives of people living with HIV and AIDS.

Help me support the L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center by giving what you can. We'll keep riding until AIDS and HIV are a thing of the past.

INCENTIVES--NEW!!!!!!!!

$00.01-$10.00--A handwritten postcard from somewhere along the ALC route. This is for you old-fashioned lonely hearts who long for the heyday of the USPS. Simple donate your pocket change, and at some point at the end of June you will receive a glowing paragraph or two filled with appreciation and accolades.

$10.01-$15.00--A similar gift to the one listed above, except you will receive your postcard in iambic pentameter. Those of you who had the misfortune of knowing me through a poetry workshop in college may remember the frightful trouble I had with the unholy iamb. This gift is perfect for those of you who exhibit sadistic or nerdy tendencies.

$15.01-19.99--One (1) handwritten letter and (1) janky fun gift from the road. Put a little heft in your PO Box!

$20.00 and up--Perhaps the greatest gift of all. In addition to my undying appreciation (which comes with all of the incentive tiers), and your choice of the incentive gifts listed above, you will also receive one (1) PREMIUM quality "I (bicycle) LA" t-shirt. Available in Adult sizes S-XXL, this wonderful 100% cotton t-shirt is a great way to show your enthusiasm for the Los Angeles cycling community.

$100 and up--If you are local to the greater Los Angeles area, I will perform one (1) household chore for you. This could range from washing your car to cleaning your bathroom to cooking you dinner. Seriously, let's talk about it. Nothing weird. If you aren't local, I will be happy to perform this favor when and if I travel to your home town. Also, you get a whomping tax write off, a general feeling of goodwill, a letter or postcard, and a t-shirt.

$500 and up--Your name, my jersey. For a donation of this magnitude, I will be more than happy to place your name, business, or personal message on the back of one (1) of my cycling jerseys at my own expense. I am very enthusiastic about wearing jerseys these days because of the ample pockets, so you're sure to get some awesome exposure all over town. You'll also get a letter or postcard and a t-shirt.

$1000 and up--I have no idea. Does anyone have this kind of cash? Seriously, just let me know what I can do for you. Also, a letter or postcard and a t-shirt. Hell, I'll give you TEN t-shirts!
