Let's Dine Out to Fight HIV/AIDS!
As some of you may know, I was volunteering my time as an HIV test counselor/RN at a free clinic in the Castro for a few years. It's something I'm really passionate about, and it was a wonderful learning experience. Now, it just got super easy for you to participate too in the life-saving services offered by the San Francisco AIDS Foundation!
On Tuesday, April 23rd, restaurants all over the Bay Area will donate a portion of the day’s proceeds to support SFAF's free and local prevention and support services as a part of Dining Out for Life. This is my 4th year hosting at a participating restaurant, and 2nd time the infamous Dave Shih is joining me! Last year we raised over $3700!
This year we will be hosting at COCOTTE. Think cheese and charcuterie, coq au vin, lobster salad, kobocha squash gnocchi.. in a super cozy Parisian bistro <3 Make your dinner reservations @ www.cocottesf.com and raise money just by eating and drinking with your friends and family! Join us for happy hour, dinner, drinks and dessert, whatever.
In addition, I’m asking you to please support us by donating as generously as you possibly can through a direct donation or sweepstakes ticket purchase. Previous prizes have included vacations in Hawaii, Puerto Vallarta, and Costa Rica. Hamilton tickets. Date night at State Bird. 2019 prizes TBA. Direct donations are tax-deductible FYI for all you business-savvy folks. We're taking donations and sweepstakes purchases right here!!!
Thanks a million,
