This is the second year She Wolf Attack Team (S.W.A.T.) is participating in the Aids Life Cycle ride as a team and we are stoked to get back to the love bubble. We are training hard to get ready for the challenging 7-day, 545-mile bike ride and have a few awesome ALC veterans leading our team.
S.W.A.T. is a grassroots women's cycling club based in Los Angeles, CA with the goal to inspire more women to ride, race and be a part of the cycling community. We act as ambassadors for women's cycling and are excited to give back this year by raising money for HIV/AIDS. The work of the San Francisco AIDS Foundation and the L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center is vital. These agencies continue to provide the critical services and education needed to meet the growing needs of our community. We ride to raise awareness and knowledge about HIV/AIDS among participants, their donors, and the general public. We ride because—in the current economy—these funds are needed more than ever. Ultimately, we ride so that someday, we won’t have to.
