This summer, from June 2- June 8, a few thousand of our friends will be riding their bikes 545 MILES from San Francisco to Los Angeles in AIDS/LifeCycle 2018. And we'll be keeping them safe, sane, and laughing as members of the notorious Rest Stop 4 crew!!
Rest Stop 4 is a tradition that has been going on for over 25 years. Most cyclists look forward to our stop all day to see what silly costumed theme we have chosen to show off in all of our glory! We make sure the riders ride in safely, get hydrated and eat while we entertain them and make them laugh and then send them off safely to ride the rest of their miles into camp.
Another tradition of the team is that we raise the most money of any volunteer group (per team member) every year! In 2017, we broke records with an average of $4,500 raised per teammate. But to ensure this happens again this year, WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT.
The funds we raise will enable San Francisco AIDS Foundation and the Los Angeles LGBT Center to help those impacted by HIV get the treatment and care they need, and provide targeted prevention efforts for high risk populations.
