Dear Friends and Family,
Here I go again, I’m preparing to participate in Aids Lifecycle (for the 9th time) from June 2-8, 2019 - traversing 545 miles from San Francisco to Los Angeles for the 8th time... Thank you to the many of you who have supported me over the years since first experiencing the very first California Aids Ride in 1994. I’ve enjoyed each and every year, but the sense of community during these rides is truly unique and intimately rewarding – among the most meaningful experiences I’ve had. It’s a great experience in helping others, sharing experiences, being vulnerable together, and coming together to provide assistance to those living with HIV/AIDS.
The ride benefits San Francisco Aids Foundation and the Los Angeles LGBT Center’s Jeffrey Goodman Clinic providing medical and related support services for people living with HIV/AIDS. (https://lalgbtcenter.org/health-services) The Center’s programs make a world of difference in the lives of people living with HIV and AIDS who would otherwise not have access to these resources.
Today people with HIV/AIDS are living full lives and managing the disease thanks to medical advances, reducing transmission rates, and attaining undetectable viral loads, but there is still much work to be done. I’d like to ask you to make it possible for me to support this worthy cause by giving what you can. Please donate to help me reach my goal!
We'll keep riding until AIDS and HIV are a thing of the past. Thank you in advance for your support!
