2017 will mark my 18th Ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles! That number even amazes me and I was there for every single mile of it! I must say that this Ride is a passion, a mission, a goal, a family, and a driving force in my life. And the drive inside of me is being an active participant in the FIGHT Against HIV/AIDS!!!
This year, I have set an ambitous goal of raising $35,000 to help in this Fight.
The House of Quoliver (aka myself and Mark) have gotten us off to a strong start with a donation from our household that will ensure that every dollar I raise goes directly back to the programs and services provided by the San Francisco AIDS Foundation. So, please know that any $$$ you donate will not be going to help support the logistics of my ride, but will go directly into funding the help, health, hope and healing that is provided by the programs and services delivered by the San Francisco AIDS Foundation.
So, I hope I can count on you to help me reach my huge goal of raising $35,000 or MORE for AIDS LifeCycle 2017!
AIDS LifeCycle 2017 will ride out from the Cow Palace in San Francisco on Sunday, June 4, 2017 and arrive 545 miles later with a few thousand battered, but elated cyclists and roadies in Los Angeles on Saturday, June 10, 2017.
I hope you will be there with me every pedal stroke along the way. As usual, I will keep you all updated with daily emails.
Also, my goddaugher Angeline made me a little sidekick to ride with me this year. And so, not only will you be hearing about my journey, but also about Dimple's adventures on his first AIDS LifeCycle Ride. The photo above is myself with Dimple.
If you want to hear from me during the ride, I will again be using my Fastmail account to send out my ride updates.
So please add this address to your email address book so my updates will come to you and not disappear into Spam-Land:
(NOTE: I'm only using this for the ride emails not as a replacement for my regular email address)
Also make sure I have a preferred email address for you if you would like to get these daily updates from the road during the ride so that I can let you know just what kind of amazing things your generous donations are making possible. And of course, every dollar of the money you donate to my ride is completely tax deductible!
Please donate, donate with your whole heart, and donate generously, both I and the thousands of clients of the San Francisco AIDS Foundation will be eternally grateful.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
