This June 3rd - June 9th, over 3,000 Cyclists, Roadies and Virtual Cyclists will be participating in AIDS/LifeCycle, a 545-mile bike ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles to raise funds for the life-saving services offered by San Francisco AIDS Foundation and the Los Angeles LGBT Center.
This year, I’ll be one of them!
Why am I riding?
I am riding to honor where I started in San Francisco. My first job in the city was with Esprit where co-founder Susie Tompkins created an amazing, inclusive community that encouraged activism and engagement.
I am also riding to honor all of the HIV/AIDS caregivers worldwide. Every day they hold someone’s hand, push away fear, connect and create hope.
I am riding with my Levi’s team because they are some of the most amazing, positive people around.
Most importantly I am riding to raise funds for life-saving services and to be part of a community creating solutions with love instead of fear.
We’re working together to make HIV/AIDS a thing of the past. Will you support me by making a donation today?
Thank you in advance for your support!
