Dear friends and family,
Thank you for joining me in this cause!
In June I will join thousands of men and women to raise funds and awareness about AIDS and about people living with the disease. Although the treatment (and therefore the effects) of AIDS have changed over time, a significant amount of advancement has come from research and programs provided by fundraisers like LifeCycle.
Some people I know have AIDS. Possibly, some people you know have AIDS too. To me, LifeCycle is an opportunity to stand in support with those who have been affected by it, while simultaneously providing meaningful benefits to the community. LifeCycle is produced in part by the SF AIDS Foundation which has these goals in mind:
1. Building support and reducing harm for AIDS patients
2. Reducing new instances of HIV diagnoses (targeting fewer than 100 per year in SF by 2019)
3. Increasing viral suppression particularly in at-risk populations
In early June, over 3,000 cyclists will be riding nearly 550 miles from San Francisco to Los Angeles, collectively raising over 15 million dollars. For the third year, I'm proud to be one of them.
Will you support me by making a donation today?
PS: If you are fortunate enough to receive a donation match from your company, please note my rider number in the comment: Rider #4344
