Every year, a new challenge presents itself. Every year, I've been able to navigate those challenges because I knew that I would have my partner in crime, Sarah Franko, by my side. Due to a recent surgery, she will be cheering me on from the sidelines this year. (Insert sad face here). After many months of anxiously deliberating if I can take on this event without her by my side, I've decided to throw caution to the wind and accept that this might be the most challenging ride to date. And yet, the challenges that lie ahead for me are nothing compared to those living with HIV/AIDS. Now that I've had my reality check, I've realized that I'm going to need extra hugs and it's likely that I'm going to have to ask a stranger for a hand. Hopefully, that stranger will become a friend, as that is how life works in the ALC community. I won't be going at this alone, as I will have the support of the 3,000 other members of the ALC community and that of my amazing friends and family.
This is the part where I ask my AMAZINGLY supportive friends and family to make a donation. This will mark my 8th consecutive year participating in this incredible event. Holy cow!! I'm so excited to get this journey started and I am so grateful to have the love and support of so many.
LOVE...SUPPORT...DETERMINATION...DEDICATION...COMMUNITY.... This is what the ALC community is all about and it is what continues to bring me back year after year.
Help me support AIDS/LifeCycle by giving what you can. I'll keep riding until AIDS and HIV are a thing of the past.
