Starting June 4th, I will be riding in my 10th AIDS/LifeCycle. It's a 7-day, 545-mile bike ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles to make a world of difference in the lives of people living with HIV and AIDS. I feel a responsibility to ride because 1) I am able and enjoy it, 2) I have the ability to raise money for a cause important to me and my community, and 3) I want to raise visibility for an epidemic that increasingly affects a broad cross-section of the human community.
I continue to be grateful to my friends and colleagues for continuing support of the Los Angeles LGBT Center, which provides not only HIV/AIDS testing and treatment but also services such as mental health and housing. I've personally known folks whose lives have depended on the life-changing work of the LA LGBT Center, and I'm proud to support their efforts.
Thanks in advance for helping in any way you can!
