I couldn't be more excited to get back on the road fundraising for the Los Angeles LGBT Center and training for an epic 545-mile bike ride along the California Coast to raise awareness for the Center's services. I've always been a big fan of the Center, its leaders and its selfless, hardworking employees and volunteers. Their work and services are invaluable to those that need them.
Most of the services the Center offers are critical to one's survival. From housing, health and legal services to employment, leadership and domestic violence assistance, it has something to offer the entire community across all ages, races, genders and sexual orientations.
The Center has been able to save countless lives over the years because of fundraising events like this.
The money raised will help vulnerable, homeless kids have shelter and get them on their feet. It will ensure that seniors, who oftentimes find themselves alone in their twilight years, have the dignified housing and services they deserve. It will get people access to critical medications they can't afford on their own.
It will ensure a good quality of life for people just like you and me that need a little (and sometimes a lot) of help.
Please join me in supporting the Center by pledging your support to help sustain its important services. My goal is to raise $20K! It's a big goal and I'm counting on your support to reach it.
