Thank you for joining me in this cause!
From June 3rd to June 9th, over 3,000 Cyclists, Roadies and Virtual Cyclists will be participating in AIDS/LifeCycle, a 545-mile bike ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles to raise funds for the life-saving services offered by San Francisco AIDS Foundation and the Los Angeles LGBT Center. This year, I’ll be one of the
I will be 60 this coming year, I have raised over $18,000.00 in the years i have participated in the ride.
I will of course be making my own donation of $100 a month. I figure if i can get 20 people to commit to $10 a month i can be at the $3000.00 mark, i would love for this year to make it up to the $5000.00.
I want to support the center as well as i possibly can, as the people they serve are being more and more marginalized, and there has to be a safe place for them to go.
On the fun side, I am doing most of my training with team FUBAR in LA. They do the hardest training rides in Southern California
The services provided as a result of this event mean the world to those who receive them, and your support means the world to me.
We’re working together to make HIV/AIDS a thing of the past. Will you support me by making a donation today?
My Personal Web Log
Hi Guys, welcome to my lifecycle blog. Thanks for checking in.
I began training for next years ride almost as soon as i arrived back in LA.
I'm training with team FUBAR, and being put through my paces believe me. The photo on the page is currently one of me in front of the Hollywood sign. We rode up and above the sign, i'll Post the pick of that later. The ride was 30+ miles with 2800 feet of elevation, and i made it.
