Thank you for joining me in this cause!
June 4th - June 10th, over 3,000 Cyclists, Roadies and Virtual Cyclists will be participating in AIDS/LifeCycle, a 545-mile bike ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles to raise funds for the life-saving services offered by San Francisco AIDS Foundation and the Los Angeles LGBT Center. This year, I’ll be one of them! The services provided as a result of this event mean the world to those who receive them, and your support means the world to me.
For those of you that don't know me, I am a Holistic Health Coach & Executive level distributor with Young Living Essential oils. I have two young boys Beckett (11) and Japhy Ryder (10). We moved to Northern California 9 years ago from New York City. As you may be able to imagine, for the past 9 years I have been taking care of little guys, participating in their class room every week, soccer, swimming, piano, baseball, karate, plenty of activities for the boys. I was noticing that even when I would put "go to the gym" on my schedule it wouldn't happen. It was far too easy for me to schedule over it or get caught up with the boys! So in February I decided to do something BIG for me, the AIDS Lifecycle ride. That means I will ride my bike from San Francisco to Los Angeles, 545 miles in 7 days! You may be thinking, she must be a cyclist! Well, 11 years ago I was a cyclist. I had not been on my bike since my boys were born. And, As I mentioned above I was not someone that frequented the gym! I decided on a Friday evening at 7:00 pm to do the ride and showed up for my first training ride at 9:00 am Saturday morning. I rode 18.8 miles on my bike that had been hanging in the garage for 11 years!! It was scary and exhilarating at the same time. I rode 545 mile and completed the Ride this past June 2017. Opening day before I began the ride I signed up to do it again! I also agreed and was trained to be a Training Ride Leader for the 2018 ride which means I will support new riders on their journey to complete the 545 mile ride!! Please say yes to supporting me today!
We’re working together to make HIV/AIDS a thing of the past. Will you support me by making a donation today?
