I’m a different man today. Riding in AIDS/LifeCycle has changed my life because it has changed me, physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually. Many people have been part of this journey, and I’m asking you to join with me as I go onthis journey for another year.
However, my participation in AIDS/LifeCycle isn’t just about my journey. It’s about helping other people and ending HIV/AIDS. Despite rumors to the contrary, people are still dying from AIDS. I lost my friend Tim two years ago to the ravages of this disease. Progress has certainly been made, with PrEP, PEP and TAP. I do believe an HIV vaccine and AIDS cure will come. Of this I am convinced... and hopefully in my lifetime But a vaccine and a cure are not here yet, and it until they are, we need to keep raising funds for HIV/AIDS prevention, treatments, services and research.
Together we who cycle, roadie, volunteer, staff and donate to AIDS/LifeCycle are saving lives. During year one, it occurred to me on day three of the ride that the first life my ride was saving was my own. Your donation may indeed save the life of someone you love.
I sincerely and continually appreciate your support and ask that you join me on my 6th AIDS/LifeCycle with a donation
Much love and thanks,
