From June 2 through 8, 2019, my ass’ll be in the saddle for another trip down the California coast with AIDS/LifeCycle. Over 3,000 Riders, Roadies, and Staff will be part of the journey too.
The 545-mile route between San Francisco and Los Angeles is a grueling challenge. There are steep hills, crosswinds, blazing heat, and agressive bees. But ALC is also a celebration of life, a traveling community, and proof that we must continue to fight HIV and AIDS with every tool at our disposal.
I ride for the thousands of people — myself included — who depend on services the SF AIDS Foundation and LA LGBT Center provide. I also ride for those who lost their battles with HIV and AIDS, including my Uncle Raul, who passed away nearly 30 years ago.
Join me as I strive for my most ambitious goal yet — $10,000. Here are some things to keep in mind:
— No amount is too small.
— Larger donations can be broken up into manageable monthly payments.
— Your company may offer gift matching. Visit https://www.aidslifecycle.org/matching-gifts/ to find out!
That “Donate Now” button ain’t gonna click itself! Give today and you’ll improve someone else’s tomorrow.
