Thank you for joining me in this cause!
June 3rd - June 9th, over 3,000 Cyclists, Roadies and Virtual Cyclists will be participating in AIDS/LifeCycle, a 545-mile bike ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles to raise funds to end HIV/AIDS.
This ride will be my third ALC ride and my 14th AIDS ride. Clearly, this is a cause that is very important to me. I continue riding because this epidemic still affects a community that I am part of, and I won't stop until we have ended HIV/AIDS. I honestly feel that we will see this day soon. We already have medications that HIV-negative people can take to prevent infection, and we know that people who are infected can prevent infecting others if their virus load is undetectable which is possible given today's medications.
Please, please consider joining me in this fight. The SF AIDS Foundation and LGBT Center of Los Angelas are trail-blazing organizations in the fight against HIV/AIDS for the entire world.
Also, thank you so much to the people that have supported my rides over the past 14 years. I know the fundraising can get repetitive year-after-year; however, we can not let up until this disease is wiped from the face of the planet.
