Hi Friends and Family -
As many of you know, I participated and rode in the 2015, 2016 AND 2017 AIDS Lifecycle charity endurance bike ride. It was an amazing experience. I tested the limits of my cycling abilities and survived each years, fairly unscathed! I even managed to ride every mile in 2017 - about 563 in total!! That is a personal goal I am very proud of.
I didn't ride in 2018 for several reasons but mainly I wanted to give my fabulous friends and donors a break from the barrage of emails I send. Fundraining is hard, I truly am not a fan, but it is a necessary activity that helps so many. Your donations each year raise over $16 million dollars to help fight against AIDS!
As in past years, I am committed to make sure that I’m ready but to also raise enough money to make a difference for the ALC charities. This year my goal at $5,001. For that, I’m asking you to support me by donating as generously as you possibly can. To the people who rely on these services to survive, every dollar counts. And every dollar brings me closer to being able to participate in this once-in-a-lifetime experience.
I know times can be hard but a $10.00 or $20.00 donation would be extremely helpful and appreciated; however if you could donate $50-200+ that would be even better (it's tax deductible too!). If you meant to donate in previous years, here is your change to help for 2019!
Thank you for making this event possible for me and for being the support that I need to cross the finish line on June 8th. Let’s make a difference together!
With love and gratitude,
Laura Ann Margason
