2016 was my first year as an AIDS/LifeCycle cyclist. This year I embark on my 4th year as an AIDS/LifeCycle cyclist. I will flying to San Francisco to prepare for this very emotional ride. We come a long way in the fight against HIV/AIDS; but the fight has to continue. We have together END AIDS. Why do I cycle? Many ask why am I doing this. I am doing this because I have lost friends to HIV/AIDS. I know many individuals that are positive, undetectable, ashamed, and refuse to protect themselves and others against the spread of HIV/AIDS. I want to be that light of hope that shines down their darkest path to let them know they have a friend. The friend that will not look down upon them, but lift them up. Allowing them to see their true self worth and potential.
Thank you for joining me in this cause!
June 2nd - June 8th, 2019, over 3,000 Cyclists, Roadies and Virtual Cyclists will be participating in AIDS/LifeCycle, a 545-mile bike ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles to raise funds for the life-saving services offered by San Francisco AIDS Foundation and the Los Angeles LGBT Center. I’ll be one of them! I'm a bit nervous but know I'll do great with all your encouragement, the training I'm doing to prepare for this cycling event and the support and encouragement of my fellow teammates and the roadies. I want you to know that I have donated my own money to cover my own costs and expenses. All the ALC participants pay their own way because this fundraising event is something we believe in and am happy to be participating in. The services provided as a result of this event mean the world to those who receive them, and your support means the world to me. If your company makes a matching donation please ultilize that also if you want. We’re working together to make HIV/AIDS a thing of the past. Will you support me by making a donation today? We will END AIDS!!!
