Thank you for joining me in this cause!
This Year I will once again be joining over 3,000 Cyclists and our incredible roadies in the AIDS/LifeCycle a 545-mile bike ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles.
I'm not going to lie, even the second time around the thought of taking on this many miles is actually pretty terrifying. But if you know me at all, you know what an incredible impact taking part in the AIDS/LifeCycle has had on me. Coming home from the love bubble made me want to be a better person, create a greater sense of community, and most importantly always make sure that no one has to fight any battle, big or small, alone.
Putting on my kit and getting to ride every morning is a luxury I have thanks to my health, but not everyone is that fortunate. There are currently 1.2 million Americans living with HIV and AIDS, and Fourteen percent of those Living with the infection are unaware they even have it. The money raised by the participants of the LifeCycle go directly to the San Francisco AIDS Foundation and the Los Angeles LGBT center to fund their life-saving services they offer to those infected by HIV and AIDS.
The services provided as a result of this event mean the world to those who receive them, and your support means the world to me.
We’re working together to make HIV/AIDS a thing of the past. Will you support me by making a donation today?
