Thank you for your heartfelt support. With your help, I reached my initial fundraising goal and now the sky's the limit! (aka, I've raised it so that together we can do even better :))
2019 will be my second year doing the Aids Lifecycle. When thinking about what to write here this year, I couldn't help but think back to the moments after my last ride, in 2017.
That year I rode in the wake of the recent elections - as an act of solidarity and faith in community and our collective power to contribute to (and make) the type of changes we hope for the world. I expected to train hard and feel good about raising money. I was blindsided by the love, energy and committment that THOUSANDS of people put forward to make this event possible. We are truly stronger together.
I'm honored to join the over 3,000 who will be participating in our 545 mile party bike ride from San Francisco to LA. The money you contribute will help provide the lifesaving services offered by the San Francisco AIDS Foundation and the Los Angeles LGBT Center.
You know I love some swag, so here's what to expect this year:
$25+ - A collectors edition ALC pin (designed by a friend of yours truly)
$50+ - A pin AND a postcard from the ride
$100+ - The above and exclusive access to a daily a vlog that I understand is mainly for my mom to watch ;)
Thank you for your generosity and support. It overwhelms me.
ps- if your employer is generous enough to match donations, my rider number is 4667 (fingers crossed!)
