Hello my Friends!
On June 2nd, over 3,000 people will be participating in the AIDS/LifeCycle, a 545-mile bike ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles. The purpose of this Bike ride is to raise funds for the life-saving services offered by the AIDS Foundation in SF and LA. This year, I’ll be one of them!
WHY AM I RIDING A BIKE 545 MILES? First, I have lost so many friends, including my partner Sam in 1989, to AIDS. They made the ultimate sacrifice, their lives! Now I feel a sense of responsibilty and it is my turn to make a sacrifice and take a stand. Second, I have been blessed with a wonderful life. This year I turned 63. I have more energy and feel better than I ever have. With nearly 6 years of being clean and sober, I am living a life I never dreamed possible. It is time for me to give back and take "Johnny G's Journey" to a new level. I have been training hard I and am determined to finish the ride in 7 days! I hope you feel moved and inspired to donate to my cause. Together, we can make HIV/AIDS a thing of the past. Will you support me by making a donation today?
