What started off as a challenge has become a new endeavor.
I had heard of this ride through some friends of mine along the grapevine. My good friend, who I met in my first year of sobriety, would constantly talk about this. Intrigued but not completely commited, I kept tabs. For this year, however, I didn't hesitate. Almost blindly, and without thinking too much about it, I signed up with the trudging buddies. It's scary and a little overwhelming.
I am shook by the amount of effort it's taking, so I need your help.
From June 3rd - June 9th, over 3,000 Cyclists, Roadies and Virtual Cyclists will be participating in AIDS/LifeCycle, a 545-mile bike ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles to raise funds for the life-saving services offered by San Francisco AIDS Foundation and the Los Angeles LGBT Center. This year, I’ll be one of them!
I'm joining this altruistic journey to make HIV/AIDS a triviality of the past. Please help me make this a reality! DONATE!
