What is AIDS/LifeCycle?
From June 2nd - June 8th, 2019, over 3,000 Cyclists, Roadies, and Virtual Cyclists will be participating in AIDS/LifeCycle, a 545-mile bike ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles to raise funds for the life-saving services offered by the San Francisco AIDS Foundation and the Los Angeles LGBT Center.
Why I ride:
There is a stigma surrounding those who have been diagnosed with HIV/AIDS that is damaging and inhibiting to the progress HIV/AIDS research needs in order to make HIV/AIDS a thing of the past. I join AIDS/LifeCycle to stand with and for people diagnosed with HIV and AIDS— spouses, parents, children, and loved ones tha are in a most difficult fight that will not be won until we all consciously stand together against it.
Where your donation goes:
100% of money raised benefits individuals utilizing programs at the San Francisco AIDS Foundation and the Los Angeles LGBT Center. It helps to further HIV/AIDS research, and provided crucial resources and services to those living with HIV/AIDS. No donation is too big or too small; every little bit helps!
