On June 2nd, I will begin biking 545 miles from San Francisco to Los Angeles to raise funds for the life-saving services offered by the San Francisco AIDS Foundation and the Los Angeles LGBT Center.
This will be my second year participating on the ride and I couldn’t be anymore thrilled to do it over again. My first year as a rider was an absolute dream – I enjoyed every moment of the experience. I remember my first training ride, I rode 30 miles and by the end of the ride I thought I was going to die. Fast-forward 6 months later: I was crossing the finish line in Downtown Los Angeles after successfully riding 545 miles over the course of 7 days. I wouldn’t have been able to do it without the love and support of my community, friends and family.
This ride taught me about the importance of fighting for something you believe in. I believe we will one day see the end of HIV/AIDS. That is why I am riding again and that is why I will continue to ride until we no longer need to.
Thank you again to everyone who made my first year so special. Let’s do it again! Please join me by helping me reach my goal of raising $5,000. We’re working together to make HIV/AIDS a thing of the past. Will you support me by making a donation today?
