Why do I ride? I ride because being HIV positive or having AIDS shouldn't be a concern anymore. I ride because I don't understand why my friends who don't fit into the nice, neat, heterosexual box don't have the same rights and they should. I ride to support the Los Angeles LBGTQ Center, which is the biggest center in the world, so they can continue doing the amazing work they've been doing.
So, on June 2nd - June 8th, I, along with over 3,000 Cyclists, Roadies and Virtual Cyclists will be participating in AIDS/LifeCycle, a 545-mile bike ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles to raise funds for the life-saving services offered by San Francisco AIDS Foundation and the Los Angeles LGBT Center.
The services provided as a result of this event mean the world to those who receive them, and your support means the world to me.
We're working together to make HIV/AIDS a thing of the past. Will you support me by making a donation today? No donation is too small. Even $5, which is the cost of a Starbucks coffee, goes far. It all adds up. Please help me reach my goal and help the Center. Thank you!!! XOXOX
