AIDS/LifeCycle Team San Diego is a diverse and active group of cyclists, roadies and volunteers of all shapes, sizes and abilities who are committed to a world without HIV/AIDS. In its 7th year as an official ALC team, Team San Diego has a large group of riders, roadies and virtual cyclists every year for AIDS/LifeCycle and has raised over $1,000,000 to date!! Committed to training San Diego-area riders for a successful and fun ride, Team San Diego schedules weekly training rides designed to prepare ANY cyclist, regardless of skill level or ability, for the 545-mile trek from San Francisco to Los Angeles. All are welcome to join us!
We take pride in being a fun, friendly, inclusive group that allows cyclists and roadies to be involved with ALC in a safe, welcoming environment. All of our rides are facilitated by AIDS/LifeCycle certified Training Ride Leaders, are geared for new cyclists and veterans alike, and follow the training plan recommended by the ALC staff. Our routes are designed with your safety as our first priority and take us through the most beautiful parts of San Diego County. All cyclists are welcome to join us on weekly training rides as we prepare for the epic journey from SF to LA in June. We love our roadies and welcome roadies to provide support during training rides and participate in all social activities.
Team San Diego riders come from all skill levels and abilities and NO rider is ever left behind! Team membership is open to all cyclists and roadies! You belong here!
