AIDS/LifeCycle 2018

OUTserve

Welcome to Team OUtserve!

We are a group of service members from all over the world committed to serving our nation AND ending HIV/AIDS. To do our part, we are coming together to form Team OUTserve: the first team to be comprised of servicemembers and veterans from the Air Force, Army, Navy, Coast Guard, and Marines. In this, our inaugural year, we will descend upon San Francisco and pedal 545 miles to Los Angeles in an effort to raise money for the San Francisco AIDS Foundation and the Los Angeles LGBT center: the two beneficiaries of the the AIDS Lifecycle event

Advances in medicine since the discovery of AIDS in 1981 have given us the technology to contain, if not eradicate, this deadly disease. Yet HIV, the virus that causes AIDS, continues to spread. There are 34 million people living with HIV or AIDS worldwide, 1.1 million of them in the United States. Every 9.5 minutes, someone is infected with HIV in the United States. Every year, approximately 50,000 new infections occur. Enough is Enough. With your help and your donations, we can put an end to this disease and help lead San Francisco to the goal of ZERO new infections.

Our Mission: Inspired by our services' core values, Team OUTserve is a dedicated group of military members and veterans committed to serving our nation AND promoting the goals of the AIDS/LifeCycle through philanthropy, service, honor, and excellence so that no individual is without the means necessary to live a healthy and stigma-free life

Our Vision: a culture, military and civilian, where every individual living with HIV has access to services that promote physical, social, spiritual, and mental well-being.

Please help team OUTserve end HIV/AIDS by contributing to the ride of our service members and veterans
