Toyota has proudly sponsored AIDS/LifeCycle for three consecutive years. Toyota’s sponsorship began in 2015 when Pete Carey, while vice president and general manager, San Francisco Region for Toyota Motor North America (TMNA), and Toyota Financial Services (TFS) Corporate Communications came up with a plan to lend 50 Toyota vehicles to AIDS/LifeCycle medical, media, staff, and support teams throughout the week.
Toyota team member Ryan Hines, although he'd never biked more than five miles in a day, decided to sign up as a Cyclist for 2017. He met other Toyota folks along the route and decided 2018 would be the perfect opportunity to extend Toyota's involvement, and bring team members together for the cause.
We're launching TEAM TOYOTA for AIDS/LifeCycle 2018!
Sign up as a Cyclist, "Roadie" volunteer, or Virtual Cyclist. Even if you have never biked before, this is an opportunity to start your impossible as we continue supporting the world’s largest annual fundraising event for HIV/AIDS. Over 3,000 cyclists and volunteers raised over $15 million in 2017 alone to support life-saving services, research, and educational programs in the fight against HIV/AIDS.
If you are a Toyota employee -- or friend or family member of someone who is -- use the registration link to the right to join the team! Or click on an individual team member to learn why they ride, and to make a donation on their page. Donations to AIDS/LifeCycle are collected by individual team members, not to a general "team collection."
Thank you for supporting the life-saving work! Together, we can put an ends to HIV/AIDS.
