Last year, I came out in support of my friends for their run around the streets of San Francisco in Santa hats and not much else to support the San Francisco AIDS Foundation. This year, I want to join them and help my team raise as much as possible for their excellent HIV/AIDS care, preventive health, and educational outreach work!
On Sunday, December 11th I’m planning to run in the Santa Skivvies Run to help raise funds for the San Francisco AIDS Foundation. I'll be as skimpily dressed as you see here for a fun run through the chilly streets of San Francisco. By accepting this challenge, I have made a commitment to support the Foundation and its mission to prevent new HIV infections and promote the health of people living with HIV/AIDS. Thousands of individuals benefit from the programs and services of the San Francisco AIDS Foundation, locally and globally, and I encourage you to learn more about why this is so important by visiting http://www.sfaf.org.
This is a new challenge for me. It's not often that I ask for donations, but this is a vital and worthwhile cause that directly benefits vulnerable gay and trans people in the Bay Area. I am committed to helping and affirming my community and I hope that I can count on your support!
It’s easy to contribute by clicking on “click here to support me”. If you prefer to write a check, you can download the donation form or just contact me and I’ll provide you with the form.
This is going to be a fun and fabulous event for a cause that affects us all. So, if you’re up for the challenge, join me by registering to run.
Thanks for visiting my page and please check back often to see my progress!
