The Team to Beat
Anyone can run on the Team to Beat — if they're willing to put the work in.
Team Captain Joseph Peters-Mathews was number two fundraiser last year, raising over $7,000 in four weeks. If you're willing to raise $1,000, run with the Team to Beat. The race is a pretty short course, so the day is about having fun — and raising money for the San Francisco AIDS Foundation, supporting all the great work they do.
SFAF provides services to over 16,000 clients per year, including rapid HIV and STI screenings, community support and engagement programs, substance use and harm reduction counseling, and case management and benefits navigation. The team goal will go up with ever new team member, and that's another $1,000 to help SFAF.
$1,000 helps provide two community education forums where 150 men can learn more about HIV. $10,000 helps provide counseling services for more than 250 clients. Will you help toward that goal? Will you run with the Team to Beat?
