RIDE WITH ME.
You are an amazing person. Thanks for coming to my site. If you are here, then you already know what I'm doing and why I'm doing it. You are here because you believe that AIDS is a terrible disease that needs to be stopped. Or, you are here because you want to support me in this challenge. Thanks for believing in me...and caring enough about ending AIDS to do something about it.
We all struggle financially. I don't have a single friend who is wealthy enough to cut me a check without cringing a little. How much should you give? If you're not hurting when you give your donation, then you're not giving enough. ;)
I love and respect your decision and ability to support me in whatever amount you can. Everything helps. Whether I get 1000 people to donate $5 each, or get 10 people to donate $500 each - either way, I will reach my goal. Most likely with a combination of both. Know that your support is not just going towards an amazing cause for people who truly need it. It is also supporting me on what is sure to be a life-changing journey of profound spiritual insight and connection with 2000 other riders who feel as strongly as I do. I hope to come back from this journey with a renewed sense of purpose and understanding about life. And I promise to share my journey with all of you. Ride with me. And thanks in advance. ;) |

65 Mile Ride UPHILL!!!
I can't believe I rode my bike from Santa Monica to San Pedro OVER the Palos Verdes cliffs. My leg muscles kept locking up on those endless hills. It was so humbling to watch 50 year old women weighing 300lbs passing me uphill.
Guess I need to train harder. ;)

45 Mile Ride...
I've finally broken my 40-mile ride limit, and rode 45 miles last week. On the ride, I'll have to be able to clear 80 miles a day, so this is just the beginning of the shape I need to be in for the ride in June.
My new ride bike is helping the miles go by quickly.
