CINCO! My 5th and Final AIDS Lifecycle Ride! Can you believe it!
I have ridden well over 10 Thousand miles training and riding each year in the AIDS Lifecycle and about to embark in less than 60 days for my Fifth and Final ride. Bitter Bitter Sweet.
Thank you for visiting my Donation Page and considering donating to my efforts on the ride that supports those living with HIV and AIDS at the San Francisco AIDS Foundation. The SFAF gives TANGIBLE services 7 days a week with YOUR donation. THAT is why I ride. To help my friends.
For those of you who do not know why I ride, I ride for my friends. I ride for your friends. I may even ride for your family. Everyone knows someone who is HIV Positive....you just may not know because of the stigma that still surrounds all of it. I am the Captain of Team Mary again this year! We have over 60 riders this year! www.supportamary.com
We are GONNA ROCK THE RIDE! Last year YOU helped me raise over $ 7 Thousand Dollars and as a Team we raised over $175 Thousand! This year my goal is MUCH BIGGER as it my last...$10 Thousand!
55 Thousand. What is that number? The number of US Americans that contract HIV in this country alone every year....STILL. 30 Years later and we are STILL working on a cure and trying to help those from dying. Sad.
Your donation today helps that. Working with Project Inform, a National AIDS Service organization for over 6 months last year allowed me to see the inside of this disease at hand. Where we are as a country and where we are on a global scale. We ARE so close. So close to finding a cure. The medications have come so so far in the past 30 years. We need you. We need your help.
So, THAT is why I do what I do. THAT is why I need YOU to do what YOU do. From June 2-8, I'm takin on the road again in the 2013 AIDS/LifeCycle. 7-day, almost 600 miles from San Francisco to Los Angeles to make a world of difference in the lives of people living with HIV and AIDS.
Help me support AIDS/LifeCycle by giving what you can. We'll keep riding until AIDS and HIV are a thing of the past.
Love to you all. Always. Thank you so much!
Captain, Team Mary
