I'm Riding to End AIDS/HIV
This is my first year riding in AIDS/LifeCycle and I couldn't be more excited! I have set my sights high this first year by pledging to raise $75,000.00! With your help I know we can get there!
I was diagnosed with having HIV in May of 2004, not really knowing anything about this disease and being certain that my life on this earth would be short. I am thankful for those pioneers before me for pushing the envelope in finding medicine that has prolonged the lives of many. I was fortunate to contract a less aggressive strain of the virus and didn't have to start taking medicine until about four years ago. Luckily the medicine is working wonders and enables me to live a normal productive life, but for those less fortunate, I am doing this ride for them, so that they too may have the access to medicine, support and the many other benefits this great ride contributes to. I also am doing this ride to honor those whose lives were cut short, because the advancements in medicine didn't come soon enough.
From June 2-8, 2013, I'm bicycling in AIDS/LifeCycle. It's a 7-day, 545-mile bike ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles to make a world of difference in the lives of people living with HIV and AIDS.
Help me support AIDS/LifeCycle by giving what you can. We'll keep riding until AIDS and HIV are a thing of the past.

Happy Thanksgiving!!
I wanted to take the time to wish you, my friends and supporters a happy Thanksgiving! These past 90 days since starting this journey I have met some amzaing people. Fellow riders, new friends and a better understanding of myself.
When I first signed up to ride this event, my brother told me that cycling was better then any drug and boy was he right! I've definitely gotten bit by the bug and I find myself wanting to get on my bike every chance I get. The weather in Oregon is not the most desirable place to be riding in the Winter time, but it definitely will make me appreciate those dry ones we get every now and again.
With your help I am at 52% of my goal and couldn't be happier with our progress in finding a cure for AIDS/Hiv.
Happy Thanksgiving!
