Thank you for joining me in this cause!
June 2nd - June 8th, over 3,000 Cyclists, Roadies and Virtual Cyclists will be participating in AIDS/LifeCycle, a 545-mile bike ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles to raise funds for the life-saving services offered by San Francisco AIDS Foundation and the Los Angeles LGBT Center. This year, I’ll be one of them!
The services provided as a result of this event mean the world to those who receive them, and your support means the world to me.
We’re working together to make HIV/AIDS a thing of the past. On a personal note, this will be the first time in my life I am doing something as challenging physically. I really appreciate your help in this endeavor. Will you support me by making a donation today?
My Personal Web Log
Each Sponsor Gets a Dedicated Thank You Ride!
I love bicycling, and I am also somewhat terrified of it, so I don't ride quite as much as I could, miss out on opportunities to explore new places and to stay happy and healthy.
Just these few weeks into the training I feel a little bit stronger, a little bit more brave, and I love what I see on my rides.
Why don't I share these joys with those who support me?! Starting in January, each person who donated at least $20 to AIDS LifeCycle through my page will receive a cycling day with at least 10 miles ridden dedicated just to them. You can read about these special days on my personal blog, lovelettersunderstated dot blog. Anonymous sponsors will not be mentioned by name. I'll make sure to share the rides with their honorees one way or another!
